On November 19th, during lunch break in the courtyard of the Sakura Shukugawa Campus, students presented the results of their group dance creations, an assignment for Professor Seguchi's "Performance Workshop" class Faculty of Architecture & Arts Over five weeks, students choreographed and practiced during class time. Using a flash mob technique (a guerrilla performance in which students gather unexpectedly in a public place, perform dance or musical performances, and then quickly disband), they performed a powerful dance to the songs "Sugar Song and Bitter Step" by UNION SQUARE GARDEN and "IRIS OUT" by Kenshi Yonezu. Although the performance lasted just under five minutes, many students, faculty, and staff passing by the courtyard stopped in their tracks to watch the sudden "guerrilla performance."
