A total of eight students, including five students Faculty of Architecture & Arts 's Art Course, two students from the Architecture Course, and one student from the Faculty Faculty of Modern Social Studies participated in the 5th Harukas School Festival, held at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store event venue from Thursday, November 20th to Monday, November 24th, and exhibited their works.
The "Harukas School Festival" is an event that introduces a variety of initiatives, such as selling and exhibiting products developed by students and those made in class. It provides students with a place to be active and to make presentations, and also provides a "place for communication between students and customers," which is a strength of a brick-and-mortar store. 24 schools and student groups participated, and this year was our university's first time participating.
The theme of our university was "Love." At the initiative of Dean Faculty of Architecture & Arts eight students from different faculties and majors, led by third-year Art Course student Izutsu Shoyuki, created shapes of "Love" that lit up in each member's heart, such as "Love," "Sympathy," "Sorrow," "Indigo," and "Mist," and after repeated trial and error, they completed the exhibition venue. During the event, many visitors were able to experience "Love."
