To support students' proactive learning and advanced specialized education, our university is developing new educational and research spaces equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Here, we introduce the distinctive facilities and learning points of each floor.
■ 1st floor: Large lecture hall with a capacity of 200 people
A large lecture hall with a capacity of 200 people has been installed. It is a flexible space that can be used for a variety of activities, such as special lectures and external collaborative events.
■ 2nd Floor: "Digital Factory" and "Digital Gallery"
It will be developed as an open creative floor where students can engage in production and research on a daily basis.
● Digital Factory
Supporting diverse learning methods such as individual and group study, and equipped with high-performance workstations, it is also capable of AI model building and advanced 3DCG production.
● Digital Gallery
We will make equipment used in classes and research activities, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, three-dimensional measuring instruments, and VR equipment, available for use at all times. You can seamlessly move between the "Digital Factory" and the entire floor, utilizing it as a unified research space.
■ 3rd Floor: "Project Lab"
A multi-purpose classroom equipped with a six-sided projector and a large LED monitor. The movable tables allow for flexible layout changes, accommodating everything from small group discussions to large-scale workshops.
Furthermore, equipped with 70 high-performance notebook workstations, it also functions as a PC lab where data analysis, AI utilization, and design production can be carried out simultaneously. It provides an ideal practical environment for students' proactive project-based learning.
■ 4th floor: "PLAY SPACE" and "Group Experiment Room"
We will provide two specialized spaces to accommodate learning in diverse fields, from digital expression to Psychology experiments.
● PLAY SPACE
With four large screens on the front, sides, and floor, and the ability to project VR content and high-resolution video at actual scale, it is possible to verify the sense of immersion. This environment allows for integrated learning from lectures on motion analysis using motion capture systems, video expression, and spatial design to actual production.
● Group laboratory
This is a specialized research facility for Psychology and emotional assessment, measuring human cognition and sensibility. It provides an environment where experiments can be conducted and data analyzed in a comprehensive manner.
