Otemae University once again received numerous awards this year for its outstanding students in the 2025 Nutrition and Cooking Skills Certification Exam.

1st Nutrition and Cooking Skills Certification Exam, Level 2: Chairman's Award - Awarded to the group with the highest average score among successful candidates.
Individual Award Category
・Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award: 1st grade (1st) 1 person...Best score
・Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award 2nd grade (1st) 1 person...Best scorer
- National Examination Promotion Organization Chairperson of the Board Award, Level 2 (1st Examination): 1 recipient... The second-best performer after the top scorer.
- Kagawa Nutrition Honor Award, Semi-Level 1 (1st round): 3 recipients... Top performers among those who passed.
Lecturer Kamoto, the student's supervisor, is scheduled to attend the awards ceremony on April 11th at the Kagawa Nutrition campus in Tokyo.
<What is the Nutrition and Cooking Skills Certification Examination?>
The Nutrition and Cooking Skills Certification Exam is one of several projects supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and is organized by Kagawa Gakuen Educational Corporation.
There are three levels, from Level 3 to Level 1. The exam consists of a first stage (knowledge) and a second stage (practical skills), and aims to help participants understand the importance of food, nutritional balance, and food culture, as well as acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for a healthy and wholesome diet.
