Main research vision:
1. We are working to advance intelligent systems and their applications through neural network modeling of brain functions related to information representation, sensation, memory, and cognition in the brain, and an information-theoretic approach based on insights from neuroinformatics.
2. Through the construction of new machine learning and knowledge management based on soft computing techniques, we aim to realize high-quality and flexible intelligent technologies, including decision-making and judgment support, and apply them to practical business operations such as data health.
3. Model the self-organizing mechanisms of information systems based on nonlinear science such as chaos, fractals, and fluctuations, as well as complex systems network science, and apply these models to improve pathological conditions in the brain and living organisms, and to address dysfunction in society.
