Professor Yoshita receives the Hyogo Prefecture Distinguished Service Award.

Professor Shigeki Yoshita (Psychology major) of the Faculty of Faculty of Intercultural Japanese Studies received the Hyogo Prefecture Distinguished Service Award for Academic and Educational Achievements in fiscal year 2026.

In Hyogo Prefecture, the governor, on behalf of the citizens, presents awards to individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of prefectural administration, the promotion of public welfare, and other individuals who have served as role models for the general public. Among these, the Hyogo Prefecture Meritorious Service Award recognizes individuals with particularly outstanding achievements in 22 categories.
