On June 4th, a student-led "Neighborhood Clean-up Campaign" for the spring semester was held. A total of 20 members of the Co-op Student Committee participated in this activity, actively working towards beautifying the local area.

■Activity Overview
On the day of the event, students cleaned up the sidewalks around the Nishinomiya Shukugawa Campus, Morigu Park, and alleys in residential areas, carefully collecting trash such as cigarette butts and empty cans. As it was the day after a typhoon, the sidewalks and parks were littered with trash and large broken tree branches. The participating students, armed with work gloves and garbage bags, worked diligently and silently, contributing to the beautification of the community.

■Student Voices
"There was a lot of trash lying around in places you can't see, like flowerbeds and drains."
"We felt a sense of accomplishment working together to improve the environment of our neighboring area."

■Looking ahead
Through this activity, students were able to deepen their connection with the local community, express their gratitude for their daily student life and the people in their neighborhood, and raise their awareness of environmental beautification. We will continue our cleaning activities and efforts to raise awareness of manners, and aim to become a university and junior college that is trusted by the local community.
