[International Institute Global Nursing] Professor Shimazawa conducts research and academic exchange at Chiang Mai University (Thailand).

Professor Kyoko Shimazawa of Graduate School of Global Nursing Science is taking advantage of her sabbatical period for the spring semester of 2026 to stay at Global Nursing, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, from June 10 to August 15 for research and academic exchange.

I am collaborating with Assistant Professor Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Associate Dean of Global Nursing at Chiang Mai University, on joint research on the theme of "Reproductive Health in Southeast Asia."

Furthermore, we are also engaged in educational exchanges focused on midwifery education and related academic and clinical practices, aiming to deepen mutual understanding between the two universities and strengthen international cooperation. This initiative is also featured as a "Visiting Researcher" on the official website of Global Nursing at Chiang Mai University, demonstrating that our university's international research and educational activities are being widely disseminated locally.

Our university will continue to strive to cultivate globally active human resources and advance research through collaboration with overseas partner institutions.
