[Community Contribution] Ebisu Basketball Club and Otemae University collaborate to hold a "Children's Cafeteria" event.

On June 28th, a "Children's Cafeteria," a collaborative event between the Ebisu Basketball Club and Otemae University and Otemae College College, was held at the Nishinomiya Shukugawa Campus. Over 130 parents and children from the local community attended, filling the campus with cheerful smiles throughout the day.

A total of 29 students from different faculties and clubs participated in this event as part of their coursework or as volunteers. Through food education workshops that utilized their daily learning and activities for children, they deepened warm interactions with the local community.

● Faculty of Health and Nutrition course "Social Collaboration Seminar [Health]" (Professor Shioya, 17 students enrolled)
I gave a lecture on the theme of "food education." In addition, I conducted a "nutrition karuta (card game) workshop" where children could learn about the importance of food while playing, making nutrition knowledge fun.

● Miyake Seminar, Faculty of Business Administration (5 students from the Miyake Seminar)
Taking advantage of the space on campus, students organized sports and activities that children could get engrossed in. They prepared easy-to-play games like soccer and "Mölkky," and the students took the lead in making outdoor playtime a great success for the children.

● Volunteer Club (7 students)
As a key figure supporting the event's operation, I was responsible for overall reception duties and assisting children with activities in each area. I contributed to the smooth running of the event and the creation of a safe and welcoming environment.

Our university will continue to deepen its ties with the local community and actively create opportunities for students to proactively participate in social contribution and community exchange.
