This year, we held our annual "International Exchange Day" at the Nishinomiya Shukugawa Campus. For the first time, we opened the event to the local community, and approximately 140 people, including students and faculty members, participated.
On the day of the event, students from 11 countries introduced their cultures and showcased their respective countries' dances, songs, and musical performances, highlighting the unique charms of their regions. The venue was filled with a warm atmosphere throughout, and performers and attendees joined together in clapping and cheering, fostering exchanges that transcended national and cultural differences. Participants commented, "It was like a world expo," and "It was so much fun to experience so many different cultures," making it a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of multiculturalism.
Our university will continue to provide opportunities for students and local residents to experience international exchange firsthand and to encounter diverse cultures.
