Students from the volunteer club actively participated in activities aimed at beautifying the local environment and learning about the region's attractions.
1. "Our Town Clean-Up Operation" (held on June 14th)
Six members of the volunteer club—Shota Kawano, Kota Ohata, Taiga Hamasaki, Shohei Shimomi, and Katsutoshi Iwamoto—participated in a cleanup activity aimed at beautifying the Shukugawa River in Nishinomiya City. The participating students commented, "It was really great to be able to clean up the Shukugawa River near our school. We felt the warmth of the local community, as local residents lent us cleaning tools and so on," making it a warm opportunity for interaction with the community.
2. "Gomaehama Cleanup & Learning Session" (held on July 4th)
Three members of the volunteer club participated in local beach beautification activities for the first time. After cleaning the beach at Gozenhama, they moved to the Nishihama Community Center to attend a learning session about the history and attractions of the surrounding area. As one student commented, "It was a very enjoyable and informative activity," it was a meaningful day that deepened their understanding of the local community as well as environmental conservation.
The volunteer club will continue to contribute to and interact with the local community through these activities.
