On September 9th, the Faculty Development Committee Faculty of Global Nursing, in collaboration with the International Exchange Committee, held an FD seminar entitled "Overseas Crisis Management Training." The seminar, themed "Emergency Response During Overseas Training," was conducted in a hybrid format combining in-person and online sessions, with over 50 faculty and staff members participating from the Osaka Castle Campus and the Nishinomiya Shukugawa Campus.

On the day of the event, we welcomed Lecturer from Japan Emergency Assistance Co., Ltd., who gave a presentation on crisis management during overseas internships and study abroad programs.

The lecture covered various risks associated with students traveling abroad, from accompanying students on overseas internships to privately funded study abroad programs, and we learned about crisis management necessary to protect the university's accountability and social credibility. We also had the opportunity to consider specific scenarios regarding information sharing in the event of a serious incident, such as communication methods between campuses and among faculty and staff, and criteria for deciding on emergency assembly and response.
