On September 22nd, Faculty of Health and Nutrition held a "National Examination Preparation Kick-off" event to support third-year students in their efforts to pass the national examination and obtain their registered dietitian licenses. The event was attended by Chairperson of the Board Fukui, President Hirano, and Vice-President Kaimori. The third-year students gathered and received words of encouragement from Chairperson of the Board, President, and Vice-President regarding their upcoming national examination preparations.

Chairperson of the Board Fukui introduced the concept of "fuyū ryūkō" (unchanging essence and changing trends), which means cherishing the essential elements that should not be changed while flexibly adapting to a changing society. He emphasized the importance of practicing Nutrition as a registered dietitian to protect not only one's own health but also the health of those around them.

President Hirano spoke about how growing through the Knowing, Doing, and Being process, which is the educational method of our university, leads to the realization of the founding spirit of "Study for Life (lifelong learning for life)."

Furthermore, Vice-President Kaimori explained that understanding and mastering the material learned in class as early as possible is crucial for passing the national registered dietitian examination, and that the university has established a system to support students in this regard.

Furthermore, two graduates also took the stage and shared specific advice based on their experiences as students, including study methods for passing the national exam and ways to maintain motivation, which will be useful for future national exam preparation. For the third-year students, it was an opportunity to renew their resolve for the registered dietitian national exam, which is about a year and a half away, and to encourage them to continue their studies.

Faculty of Health and Nutrition will continue to work together as a team of faculty and staff to support each and every student in achieving their goal of becoming a registered dietitian.
