[Faculty of Health and Nutrition] Professor Kaimori presents research at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Western Japan Society of Nephrology

Professor Junya Kaimori of Faculty of Health and Nutrition gave an oral presentation on the topic of "Familial FSGS with Laminin α5 Chain Gene Heterozygous Mutations" at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Western Japan Society of Nephrology, held in Ishikawa Prefecture on September 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun).

We discovered a novel gene mutation that causes hereditary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and reported on its pathogenesis and potential applications in diagnosis.

Our university will continue to contribute to the development of the medical and nursing fields through our research activities.
