On Saturday, October 3rd, a total of 11 students—five third-year students and six second-year students—participated in food education activities at the "35th Chuo Ward Faculty of Health and Nutrition Exhibition" held in Chuo Ward, Osaka City. The venue, the Chuo Ward Health and Welfare Center, is the same facility where the third-year students conducted their "Clinical Fieldwork II (Public Nutrition)" in August.

At the event, we conducted a dietary assessment using our university's SAT system. As soon as the venue opened, a wide range of local residents of all ages, as well as representatives from other organizations participating in the health fair, came to the event, and many people had the opportunity to experience the SAT system (approximately 80 participants). The mayor of Chuo Ward and the director of the Chuo Ward Health and Welfare Center also tried the system, using it as an opportunity to reflect on their eating habits.

During the event, third-year students primarily handled the operation of the SAT system, while second-year students actively guided visitors, demonstrating a clear understanding of their respective roles. This experience, which cannot be gained in regular classes, served as an opportunity to deepen their learning. Furthermore, working together across different grade levels strengthened the bonds between students aspiring to become registered dietitians, and we hope this will be beneficial to their future studies.
